Project Description

How can we help people take climate action online?

We are are developing new online tools to connect, engage and help people go green together in Marin and beyond.

Take the Climate Challenge

Come take the Marin Climate Challenge with us in April!

The Marin Climate Challenge makes it easy and fun to learn what climate actions you can take and provides helpful tips and online resources for those actions. You can also work with your neighbors, sharing ideas and resources, and work together towards goals, in categories like energy, transportation, food and waste.

We invite you to join our Climate Challenge Kick-Off Meeting on Monday, April 1, from 6pm to 7:30pm in Mill Valley.

Our goal is to test this platform together in April, to determine if we would like to use it on an ongoing basis to help more people go green in Marin. Please email us if you have any questions.

Green Change Calendar – North Bay

If you live in Marin or the North Bay, try our Green Change calendar of green events in our area. This calendar is curated by Marilyn Price, with the help of the Green Change Network team and our gracious partners.

We invite you to add it to your own calendar, using Google Calendar. We also invite environmental partners to share this calendar with your communities and/or embed it on your site. We welcome your suggestions of local climate action events to share on this calendar.

Please email us for more info or to suggest an event.

Online Hub for Climate Action

Go Green Marin is a proposed online hub for all climate action resources in Marin.

It will help people go green in the North Bay with a unified website, social media channels and email newsletters. Go Green Marin aims to be a portal to all climate action and environmental partner sites in our area, connecting people to the resources that can best serve their needs.

Go Green Marin will feature a shared blog with calls to action and helpful content, as well as a directory to connect with environmental partners, community members and leaders who can help you take action. It will also include our Green Change calendar of local events (see section above).
