Save water when washing dishes

By Marilyn Price

I wash all my dishes by hand and try to save water as much as I can.

The big metal container on the left is for saving the non-soapy water when cleaning off the dishes. I use that water for outdoor plants.

The mason jars capture the cold water that runs until the water gets hot. That water gets used for things like cooking, cleaning, and rinsing off soapy dishes.

It’s so easy to save our precious water if you just give it a try!
