Shop by bike

By Marilyn Price

Consider riding your bike when shopping locally — instead of driving your car, which uses a lot of energy and is a major source of climate change.

Next time you head to the store, post office, or to a friend’s house, ask yourself if you could do it on foot or pedal your way there. It’s great for the environment and good for you!

I can carry two weeks of groceries for one person using the panniers and the backbag on my bike. It’s good exercise too.
