GREEN CHANGE CARAVAN CELEBRATION

June 20, 12-3pm –  Bayfront Park, Mill Valley

Join us for a fun afternoon of activities, games, green tips and maker art, in one of Mill Valley’s most beautiful parks.

We are hosting a special Green Change Caravan Celebration at Bayfront Park in Mill Valley, on Saturday, June 20, from 12 to 3pm.
(This event will only take place if the Coronavirus shut-down is lifted by our local governments; it was previously scheduled for April 19th, but was postponed due to the pandemic).

This free community event will feature the Green Change Caravan, a traveling show of climate art and activity trailers pulled by bikes, inviting people to go green and help fight climate change.

Come see our popular Earth Bike, and have your photo taken in front of our large 6-foot globe. Learn about climate actions you can take with our Green Tips Carousel. Play environmental games to discover how your personal choices impact Mother Earth. Create your own maker art with our pedal-powered Mobile Workshop.

This fun happening is hosted by Green Change and Tam Makers. Organizers include Fabrice Florin, Geo Monley, Al Grumet and some of the creative team members who hosted the Climate Art Exhibit, the Art Float for Social Change and Earth Day 2018.

This public event takes place in Bayfront Park, at 498 Sycamore Ave., Mill Valley, CA 94941 (see Google Map). We will be in the picnic area near the bridge, right off the bike path roundabout. We encourage you to walk or bike to the event. If you need to drive, you can park in the middle school lot near the skatepark.

REGISTER NOW FOR THIS FREE EVENT, so we know who’s coming.

(You can still come if you prefer not to RSVP, but you will not get any event updates.)

Would you like to help create the Green Change Caravan? We’re looking for volunteers to help build, design, paint, host, promote and document our community art project.  Please email us if you have any questions: caravan@greenchange.net.

We hope to see you there!
